Conner M. Holland Foundation

Assisting Families Affected by Pediatric Cancer

Our Impact

CONNER M. HOLLAND FOUNDATION

Dear Supporters,

Since our start in 2012, The Conner M. Holland Foundation worked to fulfil our core mission: to assist families affected by pediatric cancer.  As always, our goal is to create discernable impact to the families we support by offering them several months of financial assistance, allowing them to focus precious time and energy on the health and well-being of their sick child.  We are proud of the impact families in our community have felt through our efforts over the last 10 years, however, we feel this season in our lives is ending.

It is with mixed emotions that we announce effective today, the Conner M Holland Foundation leadership team has chosen to close our non-profit organization.  The board has sought advice from Ray Durkin from Appel & Yost. help us formally dissolve the business.  We will no longer accept donations and seek to distribute remaining funds to support families fighting pediatric cancer.

In this bittersweet moment, we acknowledge the impact of your support.  Over the last decade, you enabled $281,343 of financial assistance to reach 68 families, helping them in in their time of need.  Furthermore, sick children across the country have received 15,110 pajamas through Conner’s Comfy PJs.

YOU made this happen!  You made a difference.  For that, we thank you.

Kevin & Sheryl Holland,

The Conner M. Holland Foundation

The Pajama Promise

The foundation began with a little boy’s promise to bring comfortable pajamas to all the children in the hospital.  Sheryl Holland captures the story in her new book, “The Pajama Promise”.  Allowing us all the opportunity to join Conner’s adventure alongside his new dinosaur friend as they bring that promise to life.

Based in south-central Pennsylvania, The Conner M. Holland Foundation is a recognized non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves families in Lancaster, Lebanon, and York counties. Conner’s Comfy PJ’s

Children who receive inpatient hospital care for care are typically limited in their ability to play, often times spending most of their day in bed. We believe making a child comfortable during their stay is important to their overall well-being. We created the Conner’s Comfy PJs program to meet this need. Each year during the month of May, we collect new pajamas that are distributed year round to pediatric cancer units at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). During our first year, we collected over 700 pairs, and to date, that number now exceeds over 12,000 sets of Conner’s Comfy PJs.
